1. Start by picking the tent up with the underside facing you and the opening of the tent facing up. Place your right hand on the side with the safety loop, your left hand should be directly opposite.
2. Using a right hand over left hand motion, pull both sides of the tent together.
3. The tent will naturally twist and fold and nest into itself. The safety loop should be at the top.
4. Keep your hands firmly on either side of the folded circle, making sure you are holding all support poles in both hands.
5. Again, using a twisting right hand over left hand motion, pull both sides of the tent together, making a figure 8 shape. Note there will be some tension in the poles. Keep going!
6. Firmly hold the center of the figure 8.
7. Fold the figure 8 in half like a clamshell, resulting in a circle that is the size of the pouch. This final fold will have some resistance but the supports will not break. Keep going!
8. Continue to hold the folded circle firmly. Secure the folded circle with the safety loop by sliding the loop around the folded tent.
9. Slide secured tent into pouch. Zip and carry.
